The Senior Oncology Account Specialist (SOAS) will have a variety of responsibilities, including:

  • Promoting Pfizer’s product portfolio to health care providers and specialists.
  • Educating members of the healthcare community regarding the appropriate use of Pfizer products.
  • Calling on accounts and organized customers to improve patients’ experience with Pfizer products.
  • Increasing Pfizer’s brand with high-value target customers through insightful assessments of accounts and business landscapes.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree from an accredited institution OR an associate’s degree with 8+ years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to travel domestically and stay overnight as necessary.
  • Valid US driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company standards.
  • Minimum of 4 years of previous Pharmaceutical Sales experience or minimum of 4 years of previous Oncology Healthcare Professional (HCP) experience.
  • A demonstrated track record of success and accomplishment in previous roles.
  • Exceptional aptitude for learning and ability to communicate technical and scientific product and disease management information.
  • Demonstrated high degree of business acumen.
  • Proficiency using complex digital applications and adapting to Pfizer’s long-range technology model.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of Oncology sales experience.
  • Experience in Prostate Cancer Therapeutic Area.
  • Master’s Degree or Advanced Healthcare Professional (HCP) Degree.
  • Experience calling on institutions, NCI centers, and Key Opinion Leaders.
  • Strong knowledge of disease states, therapeutic areas, and products.
  • Strategic account selling and management skills.
  • Ability to maintain relationships throughout institutions.
  • Superior selling, technical, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to engage, influence, and support customers throughout the selling process.
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment and leverage multiple resources.

  • Annual base salary ranging from $108,600 - $250,700.
