The Senior Migration Engineer will lead end-to-end Microsoft 365 migrations, use enterprise migration tools, collaborate with stakeholders, produce technical documentation, and provide expert support for messaging, collaboration platforms, and application integration.


Responsibilities

  • Leading end-to-end Microsoft 365 migration projects, including tenant-to-tenant and G-Suite to M365 migrations, covering all phases from discovery and remediation through to execution and post-migration support
  • Utilizing enterprise migration tools such as Quest On-Demand and BitTitan to deliver seamless, high-quality migrations while maintaining the integrity of the overall IT architecture
  • Collaborating with business leaders, architects, IT teams, and third-party partners to understand requirements and deliver solutions that are aligned with organizational strategy and governance standards
  • Producing and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation including high and low-level designs, build documentation, application handover, and disaster recovery documentation
  • Providing expert technical advice and hands-on support to business and IT stakeholders on matters related to enterprise messaging, collaboration platforms, and application integration

Skills

  • 4 to 7 years of demonstrable hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 migrations, including tenant-to-tenant migrations and G-Suite to M365, with strong working knowledge of Quest On-Demand and ideally BitTitan or Sharegate
  • Solid expertise in Microsoft technologies including M365 and Azure, with the ability to architect and implement solutions that reduce technical debt and align with enterprise architecture standards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve and escalate key design decisions in a structured and effective manner
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels and present complex technical solutions clearly
  • A proactive, collaborative approach with the ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and operate with a high level of integrity and attention to detail
