<div>We are seeking a Strategy & Transformation Analyst to conduct rigorous strategic and financial analysis, evaluate M&A opportunities, and act as a strategic partner to leaders across the business.<br/><br/><b><b>About the Team</b></b><br/><br/>The Transformation team is a newly created group positioned to work directly alongside executive leadership and across all areas of the business. Acting as the bridge between strategic planning and high-impact execution, the team is dedicated to driving key corporate strategy and transformational initiatives that shape the future of our organization.<br/><br/><b><b>About the Role</b></b><br/><br/>As a Strategy & Transformation Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to drive corporate strategy, evaluate market opportunities, and support M&A execution.<br/><ul><li>Serve as a strategic partner to business leaders on critical topics including product strategies, market entry, competitive positioning, operational improvement, and customer opportunity capture.</li><li>Create complex financial models to evaluate strategic scenarios and conduct valuation analyses using DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions, and sum-of-the-parts methodologies.</li><li>Evaluate potential targets, partners, and investments while helping prepare deal materials (teasers, info memos, management presentations, term sheets).</li><li>Support due diligence by coordinating with cross-functional teams to identify risks and opportunities.</li><li>Conduct market research and competitive analysis to assess industry trends, track deal activity, and evaluate the financial performance of peer companies and adjacent sectors.</li><li>Synthesize complex findings into executive-ready PowerPoint decks and presentation materials for strategic discussions with executive leadership and the Board.</li><li>Support the development and maintenance of Rapid7's annual and long-range strategic plans, helping align company priorities with market opportunities.</li></ul><br/><br/><b><b>The skills and qualities you'll bring include</b></b><br/><ul><li>Bring 1.5-3+ years of investment banking, corporate development, or corporate strategy experience with a heavily quantitative background.</li><li>Demonstrate proven ability to build financial models from scratch and apply core valuation methodologies (DCF, comps, precedents) to evaluate corporate strategy bets and M&A opportunities.</li><li>Possess exceptional writing and presentation skills, with a track record of translating complex analyses into concise, executive-ready presentations to foster commitment from stakeholders.</li><li>Hold strong familiarity with M&A execution processes, due diligence, deal documentation, and competitive landscape analysis.</li><li>Demonstrate a deep interest in enterprise technology, SaaS metrics, deal activity, and how tech companies scale and transform.</li><li>Manage multiple parallel work streams independently by establishing ownership, clear expectations, and holding self and others responsible for driving outcomes.</li><li>Build a global network and work across boundaries with cross-functional business leaders to deliver sustainable improvements that create business and customer value.</li><li>Apply a strong understanding of self to adapt to group dynamics, leverage agility, and navigate complex strategic scenarios.</li><li>Embody our core values to foster a culture of excellence that drives meaningful impact and collective success.</li></ul><br/><br/>We know that the best ideas and solutions come from multi-dimensional teams.
